Must read

I picked up On the Brink of Extinction expecting another doom-and-gloom environmental book, but it’s so much more than that. What I loved most is how the author refuses to simplify the problem. He connects climate change with economic inequality, technological advancement with democratic decay and so on. There’s anger, grief and hope, all coexisting on the page.

An ode to humanity

A book that not only leaves you with questions but also the curiosity to find answers - a fascinating read.

With the growing volume of data at our disposable, it seems increasingly impossible to get our hands on the unfiltered truth. On the Brink of Extinction captures the harsh reality of the world in its current state while also drawing comparisons to how humanity is assumed to be. The author, through his well-articulated arguments, manages to raise a plethora of questions in the minds of his readers. While these queries challenge the existing beliefs surrounding humanity, they also open the door to open dialogue that could could either propagate or destroy humanity.
