'The Rise of NaMo and New India' is prefaced with a marvellous piece of writing that unravels the mysteries of politics with no holds barred. In a poem, the writer and the poet invokes divine guidance on writing about a great person before he starts the first part of the book, in which he gives a detailed account of how the people of India greeted Sri Nrendra Modi as a Prime Ministerial candidate in 2013, how they were excited to receive him as their national leader and how BJP swept to victory in 2014 and in 2019 as well.
The second part of the book consists of about forty poems and a few commentaries on Covid 19, the ceremony to lay the foundation stone of Ram Janm Bhoomi, the Sino-India border conflict, the national education policy 2020 and agricultural reforms 2020. The first poem is a brief biography of PM Narendra Modi, then a series of poems that describe his love for the country and loyalty towards it, his leadership abilities and his boundless enthusiasm to make the country self-reliant. A few poems feature his schemes and the historical laws introduced and reformed by his government, like welfare programmes, Clean India Movement, development of social, economic and transport infrastructure, surgical strikes, revocation of Article 370, Jammu and Kashmir geographical reorganization, law against triple talaq, ten percent reservation to lower general class And Jammu, Kashmir amended reservation and Citizenship Amendment Act. There are poems that commemorate a few great leaders like, Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar
Thousands of writers have written books about the most celebrated Prime Minister. Most of them have given detailed or brief account of his life with a chronicle of his achievements. A good many of them are his biographers. ‘The Rise of NaMo and New India’ is different from their books because unlike them, it draws a perfectly true picture of the tide of public opinion swinging NaMoward in 2013 and 2014 and India’s miraculous transformation into a powerful country, marshalling its economical, social and political resources in seven years of NaMo rule. It is also exceptional in its style of writing because it is exquisitely written in ringing verse and clear elegant prose and with occasional shifts between them.

A book that not only leaves you with questions but also the curiosity to find answers - a fascinating read.
With the growing volume of data at our disposable, it seems increasingly impossible to get our hands on the unfiltered truth. On the Brink of Extinction captures the harsh reality of the world in its current state while also drawing comparisons to how humanity is assumed to be. The author, through his well-articulated arguments, manages to raise a plethora of questions in the minds of his readers. While these queries challenge the existing beliefs surrounding humanity, they also open the door to open dialogue that could could either propagate or destroy humanity.
Repeat mode on. This guy is too much of himself as if he is god. He has no logic content. He doesn’t explain anything and only promotes his other books. Rubbish I would say. Never buy this book. Waste of money.
Author Rathnakumar Raghunath’s highly anticipated second collection of poetry, Charcuterie of Thoughts, has truly been worth the wait.
The writer created magic with words with his début, Smörgåsbord of Musings. A book that is a warm hug and filled with everything relatable, Smörgåsbord of Musings is an extraordinary marvel that the author gifted the world during Covid, when all we wanted to feel was loved and hopeful, something this book will never fail to provide us, even years down the line. It has indeed found a permanent place not only on the shelves of readers, but in their hearts too.
Coming to Charcuterie of Thoughts, this collection of poetry is reminiscent of Smörgåsbord of Musings in many ways, and yet, stands as a unique, proud and grown up collection all on its own. Just like he did with his debut, Rathnakumar Raghunath has created even more magic and proven that he is the epitome of a writer of our times who is a class part yet one with us, with his new book. If Smörgåsbord of Musings is a warm hug, Charcuterie of Thoughts is like knowing you have an umbrella on a rainy day to protect you from the rain, while being fully aware that it is capable of flying away, out of your hands, at any second, if your grip is not firm. At the same time, however, and most importantly, the book pried that it’s okay to let go of this umbrella sometimes and simply make the most of the rain. It is a reality check about the fragility of life, that sometimes seems like a slap in the face, in a manner that is raw, real and relatable.
While reading any work of art, it is difficult to entirely separate the creator from his creation, and Charcuterie of Thoughts proves that Rathnakumar Raghunath has grown immensely, as a person and as a writer. That growth is something many readers might also have experienced, given the times we live in, which makes the book a true contemporary masterpiece. With the right amount of bitterness, betrayal, cruelty, darkness and disgust, balanced with the right amount of love, hope, loyalty, sweetness, fun, humour and so much more, Charcuterie of Thoughts has something for everyone. It is a well curated, meticulously thought of and immaculately written collection of poetry that speaks to the heart and the mind alike. This book romances you in way that is both loving and dangerous, which takes it to the next level, making it an extraordinary and remarkable work of art. It consumes you in a way that will leave you coming back to it and wanting more.
Rathnakumar Raghunath’s writing is reminiscent of great French poets, but he does what they could never - he puts down what’s on his mind and in his heart, in a manner that is easy to comprehend and easier to relate to. He pays tribute, in the most incredible ways, to everything he is passionate about, and he proves, that above anything else, love will always win, and there is so much peace in simply knowing that. He has the magical ability to make you believe, to convince you to never lose hope, and to simply keep carrying on, experiencing the entire spectrum of human emotion.

"And in these rains, these winds, these eyes, this tied hair, this blush, this walk and the coffee she made for me, I’m falling in love with her. In each sip. It’s a love at first coffee."
A beautiful story of romance, love, art, poetries, coffee, rains and many more pleasant things.
Jay, a writer falls in love with Cassy, a comic artist. Their love then blooms through the streets of the beautiful rainy Castle Town. He would compose beautiful poetries for her and she doodles him in comics. And the online texts exchanged between them boost their growing affection to another level. But everything isn't always cheesy breezy. One has to go through the storm to embrace the calmness. Same goes with Jay and Cassy, the two love birds. Will they survive this storm or surrender themselves effortlessly?
I loved reading this book. One can easily dive into the pages that seems so dreamy, yet realistic. The poems were fantastic. My favourite are the ones which expressed about the rains, be it season's first or the unexpected thunderous. This is the book one shouldn't read in hurry is what i would like to suggest. Give yourself a dedicated amount of time to admire the poetries and proses as well. You can instantly relate with whatever is expressed in it, be it the nostalgic wave of rains, the addiction of coffee, desperation for each other in texts, the longing, the pain and the goals as well.
The characters are well developed. Language is simple yet engaging. Narration is what made the story youthful. Title is apt and so the coverpage.
I havent read sci fi stories before. This one made me interested in. Romance also good.
I enjoyed the poems more than the story.
I enjoyed poems in this books.
